The Santo Domingo pueblo people are known for their great work during this time. Old 45 records were melted down and hand cut stones and shells were inlayed on top of the cut outs. This choker is a best seller! This fine piece of Native American jewelry was hand strung by Navajo Indian artist Berlinda Begay.
Berlinda strung this choker with heishi beads of Turquoise colored Magnesite in graduating sizes for an artful look. The center of
each strand has been dressed with a gathering genuine Buffalo Horn beads. The dark and warm shades of the Buffalo Horn give a
sharp and beautiful contrast to the cool hues of the Turquoise colored Magnesite. These Magnesite strands come together at the
Sterling Silver cones. Strung in our shop. This Navajo Indian choker is 17-1/2" long. Beads were among the first things Pioneer
Smiths made, beating them from old coins. At the turn of the century beads were a symbol of fashion and status, which continues

Here is a really colorful Horse Fetish necklace hand strung from various hand carved fetish stones you will really
enjoy wearing and find it to be a great conversation piece. There are about 50 hand carved assorted fetish animals in
this collector's piece necklace. There are about 12 different animals on the necklace. The large horse center piece is
about 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 3/8". The other smaller fetishes are about 1/2" x 1".The top is done in an old traditional method called a “Squaw wrap”.
