About Taos, Navajo, Pueblo Moccasins!
If you have ever traveled to New Mexico and Arizona Indian Country, you will see a huge majority of Native Americans wearing moccasins with white bottoms. May people wonder about these and why they wear these. Many Navajos and Pueblo people have been wearing these types of moccasins for hundreds of years and there is a reason for that. The white bottoms are actually very thick leather hide that is molded when wet. Although these moccasins bottoms are hard when you first put them on, as you wear them, the bottoms will soften up. Once that happens which generally only takes a few days of wearing them, your foot starts to mold to the inside of the moccasin. Once these are broken in, this moccasins are the most comfortable shoe you will ever wear. It is then like having a completely custom made moccasin and molded footbed just for you. We can tell you that if you have never tried a pair of these authentic handmade moccasins, you are in for a really big treat! These moccasins are completely hand made from this finest leathers and suede in an old fashioned manner and this is a rare chance for you to own a pair of original and authentic handmade Navajo and/or Taos moccasins! These moccasins are hand made in the USA and made of top quality leathers,
moose and glove leather buffalo. There is nothing like them since they
fit and feel like a glove! Once you wear these authentic indian style
moccasins, you will not want to wear anything else and the shoes you
have now will remain in your closet. Our section of beaded authentic
Indian moccasins are hand made by the Native American Artist as indicated.
These hand made Indian style moccasins are works of art and a vanishing
craft to themselves. You'll stand out in them and everyone will ask
you wherever you go where you got them.
Indian Moccasins
traditionally have soft sole bottoms. Many wonder about that so here
is your answer. First of all, they feel great and it's almost like walking
barefoot! Secondly, Native Americans wear soft soles because they are
so in touch with mother earth and wish to not damage anything on it.
Therefore, soft sole moccasins are much easier on plant life than hard
soles. Our Taos style moccasins towards the bottom of this page (the
ones that have white bottoms) are sort of hard when you get them but
they soften up and mold to your feet as you wear them. I know that you
will agree with us that once you wear a pair of authentic handmade moccasins
made in the USA, you will not want to ever wear anything else (other
than maybe cowboy boots) and will tend to fall in love with them.

These classic American Indian old west style moccasins are very
soft skin and formed from Buffalo skin. They are like soft glove
leather, double lined on the bottom and have a foam layer sandwiched
into the sole. Made from what is called sole crinkled gum, they
provide extra protection for both indoors and outdoors. When it
comes to comfort and that American Indian look, there isn't anything
